BAS P/U Online (English)

2 days teacher-led course

In construction and civil engineering projects, the developer is legally required to appoint a Work Environment Coordinator for the planning phase (BAS P) and another for the execution phase (BAS U). The appointed person must be able to demonstrate the competence required for the role. This BAS P/U online training covers the responsibilities of the client, developer, BAS P and BAS U. It provides the equivalent of a regular classroom course – the only difference is that you participate via video link.

Purpose

To provide knowledge about work environment responsibility and how work environment issues must be considered from planning and design through to execution. Participants gain the knowledge required to act as Work Environment Coordinators.

Course Content

• Basic work environment knowledge.
• The Work Environment Act and the Work Environment Ordinance.
• Workplace design.
• Relevant regulations from the Swedish Work Environment Authority.
• Responsibility (employer, employee, developer, BAS P and BAS U).
• Preparation of a work environment plan.

Target Group

Anyone who will work as a Work Environment Coordinator, as well as anyone who needs knowledge of how coordination of the work environment should be managed at a construction site.

Course length

Two days, instructor-led online training. You participate via video link.
